August 23, 2016 (PRIEST RIVER, ID) World-leading aerospace design, product development and manufacturing company Aerocet™ announced today that it received DGCA-Indonesia approval on the 6650 amphibious twin aircraft floats for the Quest Aircraft Kodiak 100. “We are really excited about this news”, said Matthew Sigfrinius VP of OEM Sales at Aerocet. “We are very proud of our product and the hard work that went into it and even more proud of the fact that Mission Aviation Fellowship, based out of Jakarta, will be able to now use our product to continue their humanitarian efforts in and around Indonesia.” Aerocet’s lightweight composite floats eliminate leaks and corrosion typically associated with heavier aluminum floats, therefore substantially reducing maintenance time and costs while improving performance. “We’ve incorporated our patented Oil-Bath Wheels into the floats, virtually eliminating bearing maintenance,” said Sigfrinius. Other enhancements to the floats include our advanced landing gear advisory system, which grants pilots a more safe and efficient product, as well as large storage lockers for loading versatility and convenience.
